Synopsis: Northern Ireland, 1960: Father Thomas Riley and Father John Thornton are dispatched by the Vatican to examine reports of a wonder, a statue of the Virgin Mary sobbing blood, at a remote Catholic refuge for immoral ladies. Outfitted with 16mm film cameras to record their discoveries, the clerics rather find a debased awfulness show of savage nuns, satanism and wicked ownership.
